This parfait is what a perfectly summer day would taste like. It is vibrant, fresh, nutty, and subtlety sweet. Best of all - it's healthy, easy to make, and tastes as good as it looks. Plus, you can use any nutritious grains you happen to have.
Ingredients
¾ cup 0% or 2% plain or vanilla Greek yogurt, divided
½ cup fresh fruits or berries of choice
½ cup whole grain cereal (Cheerios, Barbara’s Bakery shredded spoonfuls,
Kashi Heart to Heart)
2 Tablespoons of any type of nut (slivered almonds, walnuts)
Preparation
1. In a small bowl or cup, place ½ cup yogurt to create bottom layer.
2. Place fruit evenly over yogurt.
3. Place remaining ½ cup yogurt evenly over berries.
4. Top with cereal and nuts.
